Mr. Julian H. Preisler is a free-lance genealogist, author & archivist residing in Falling Waters, West Virginia in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. He is a graduate of the University of Florida and Mary Washington College and has been a professional genealogist and researcher for over 15 years. Published works include: Through The Years: Congregation Beth Israel of Media, Pennsylvania; Jewish Cemeteries of the Delmarva Peninsula; Pioneer American Synagogues: A State By State Guide; and Jewish Genealogical Resources: Mid-Atlantic States. The son of Holocaust Survivors, Julian is a native of Detroit, Michigan and has had an interest in Jewish history/genealogy and synagogue architecture for over 25 years.
